Heated tank showers

Tank showers often need to be deployed in out doors situations. Indeed one of the main benefits of tank showers is that they can be positioned away from plumbed water supplies. This means that in sub zero weather conditions there is a danger that the water in the tank will freeze, preventing the shower from operating. The EU and American standards governing safety showers specifically state that such a risk from freezing should be accounted for and measure taken to eliminate it.

With our heated shower range a thermostat controlled heating element in introduced into the tank. This ensures that the water temperature remains with in the guidelines set our in the ANSI and DIN standards.
These showers come in the same 4 basic sizes and can be customised with the same add ons as standard tank showers. Further customisation can be achieved by adding water temperature indicators, and temperature alarm switches.

All heated showers can also be fitted with ATEX compliant electrical components making them suitable for use in ATEX zones 1 and 2.
